Witnessing a vehicular accident can be a cause for panic. Yet, one should try to be clear-headed as possible, so they can help those affected. If you find yourself as a bystander in this situation, here are some things you can do.
1. Prevent more casualties by alerting oncoming traffic.
2. Look for fire hazards like spilled fuel, and turn off car ignition. Turn on hazard light as well.
3. Move the victim away from traffic, spilled fuel, and other harmful materials.
4. Call 911. If you’re unable to, ask someone to call for you.
